Finniss Flavours & Litchfield Swim, will deliver expert level views of the popular waterfalls of Litchfield National Park from above and allow you to cool off in your own private waterfall then relax at Finniss River Lodge with a gourmet lunch.

Departing from Darwin, we overfly Litchfield National Park waterfalls including, Wangi, Florence, Tolmer, Sandy Creek, The Cascades and land at Sandy Creek Falls where you can cool off in the rock pools and explore this secluded piece of paradise.

After a morning of adventure, this is where the Finnis Flavours come in. Situated on a 50,000-acre family owned and operated outback cattle station, Finniss River Lodge offers authentic Territory style hospitality. You'll enjoy some of the finer things in life, with a gourmet lunch including beverages prepared by their talented head chef Lachlan Raineri.

This is a sought after private Top End experience and one that makes special moments even more memorable.

Departure time: This tour departs at 9.00am and returns at 2.30pm.

Advance bookings only (We need at least 48 hours notice to book the landing at Sandy Creek Falls - subject to availability).
Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your departure time.
We do not provide hotel transfers, we are conveniently located approx. 10 minutes in a Taxi or Uber from Darwin City.

“A morning helicopter flight out of Darwin with Airborne Solutions was great as we passed over the city and harbour in brilliant sunshine. Wonderful views there, and on the way to the working cattle station in the NT, at Finniss River. What a beautiful property! We landed in front of the main building and were whisked away in a 4WD buggy to the waters edge for an Airboat ride. A fantastic experience all round. Beautiful wetland covered with water lilies, grasses, and forests of paperbark trees, as well as a run up the wide Finniss River itself. Plenty of birdlife and things to see. This is not a 30 minute affair, it was close to an hour as I recall and absolutely worth it. NOT TO BE MISSED.

Finally back at the station for what was a fantastic lunch, far exceeding our expectations. Brilliant chefs, staff and surroundings overlooking a wonderful swimming pool that we were invited to use.

Then we flew out to the Litchfield National Park and that was fabulous. Having been there before by car, nothing beats the real view of the various falls and gorges. Finally we flew up into a small cataract waterfall area and landed on the rocks, before having a relaxing swim in the clear waters. We were the only ones there so fantastic experience all round there. Probably spent about an hour there before taking off again, up through the trees, and then zipping along to the Darwin River Tavern for a bit of country music and local atmosphere. After a few cold NT refreshments up in the skies again and back to Darwin.

All in all a top class experience. The Heliport is about 15 minutes from Darwin so very convenient. And not to forget the team who organised this, and our pilot Brent were brilliant. Cannot thank them enough. So save your pennies. DEFINITELY A FANTASTIC 6 STAR EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!. Craig and Lorna”
